“Our mission is to impact impoverished emerging and developing nations by empowering teachers with educational resources that enhance their ability to teach and instills in students a lifelong desire to learn.”

Imagine sending your child to school where their chair is a brick and their desk is their thigh; where there are few books and no colorful posters on the wall to stimulate their imagination.

Welcome to the PAL Portable Academic LapDesk website. The PAL is an innovative and creative solution to one of Africa’s major problems, that of educating her children. The PAL revolutionizes the possibilities of education for children and teachers.

In most of Africa, schools are lacking the basics of facilities, supplies and materials. Many schools still consist of only a blackboard under a tree.

The PAL addresses 3 major needs:

1 – Basic educational material
2 – A colourful desk surface for students
3 – A lesson plan book for teachers

We invite you to get involved in this innovative solution. You can make a difference in the future education of a child.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”  - Nelson Mandela
